The Dean Academy of Performing Arts (DAPA) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2024!

After a career as a professional dancer, Principal, Sarah Dean opened the school in 1999 and it is still going strong – offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street Dance, Irish Dancing, Singing, Musical Theatre and Acro. The academy produces annual shows including a pantomime, a Summer Ballet and several Irish Dance shows and events.

Sarah was a championship Irish dancer and the DAPA Troupe regularly perform at weddings and charity events.  Their claim to fame is having performed at Ruth and Eamonn Holme’s wedding!

DAPA teaches classes in Deal and Dover – they have close to 400 students.  Classes are taught in a caring and professional manner.  Students have fun whilst learning new skills and growing in confidence.
